On the Friction Between Quarterback Rick Clausen and the Knoxville Media
John Pennington discusses recent friction between Knoxville media guy Dave Hooker and Tennessee quarterback Rick Clausen, who has apparently declined to answer questions from Dave.
I love Hooker, but I think he mis-read Rick’s frustration a couple of weeks ago and was a bit unfair in criticizing him because of it, which further frustrated Rick. I hope that this doesn’t escalate. I hope that Rick has a good game, beats Alabama, discards his frustration, and shows the class he has in the past by talking with Dave, and that Dave gives him the benefit of the doubt.
